Botulinum toxin injections like Botox®, Xeomin, and Dysport can help you achieve natural-looking results in just a few treatments. You can regain confidence and minimize the appearance of facial and neck lines with zero downtime!
In addition to cosmetic use, botox can treat the following medical issues:

- Overactive bladder & urinary incontinence
- Cervical dystonia neck pain
- Lower limb spasticity
43 facial muscles allow us to chew, smile, speak, laugh, frown, and communicate our emotions. Over time, the constant working of the muscles appears on the surface through lines and wrinkles.
Botox inhibits the synaptic release of the acetylcholine neurotransmitter, slowing the contractions that cause wrinkles. With treatment, the skin will have a smooth, youthful appearance.
Botox treatments can take as little as 20 minutes. Since it is a non-invasive injectible, you can return to your daily routine once you leave the office. While the immediate appearance is not altered, neither is the desired effect immediately evident. It takes approximately 7 to 14 days for the medication to become completely active.
Some patients may experience redness around the treatment area for one to two hours after treatment. In rare instances, patients may experience bruising that can be treated with ice packs; those on blood thinners are more at risk. We ask patients to disclose any prescription medication or over-the-counter medications.
Other common side effects include a small bump and soreness at the injection site. Severe reactions are rare, but tell your doctor if you experience more severe discomfort, allergic reactions, difficulty breathing, trouble swallowing, or other upper respiratory tract infection symptoms.
The effects of Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport can last up to eight months and can be repeated as often as necessary to maintain an improved appearance. Botox treatment can be done with the addition of cosmetic dermal fillers to treat deep-set lines and wrinkles.
While Botox is considered a one-time treatment, we recommend refreshing it every three to four months on average.
