Description
111MedCo 2% Pyrithione Zinc Medicated Cleansing Bar (4oz) is a medicated soap formulated with 2% pyrithione zinc as an over‑the‑counter anti‑dandruff active. It is indicated for the relief of skin itching, flaking, and scaling associated with dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis and can be used on the face, scalp, beard area, and body where these concerns commonly appear.
Pyrithione zinc is used in anti‑dandruff shampoos and medicated cleansers to help reduce the flaking and discomfort linked to dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. When used as directed, this bar helps cleanse away excess oil, buildup, and scale while delivering pyrithione zinc to the affected areas. With consistent use, it can support a cleaner‑feeling scalp and skin and help reduce the visible signs of flaking and scaling.
The 111MedCo 2% Pyrithione Zinc Medicated Cleansing Bar is designed with a lathering soap base that includes glycerin to aid in cleansing while helping to minimize excessive dryness when used according to directions. It can be used on the scalp by lathering and working into the roots and affected areas, and it may also be used on facial and body sites such as around the hairline, eyebrows, beard area, and chest where dandruff‑like flaking or seborrheic dermatitis‑type symptoms are a concern.
Directions: Use on affected areas in place of your regular soap. Wet the skin or scalp thoroughly, work the bar into a rich lather, and massage gently into the affected areas, allowing the lather to remain in contact for several minutes before rinsing thoroughly with water. For best results, use at least twice a week or as directed by your healthcare provider. For external use only.
