Forehead Wrinkles

Forehead wrinkles. Unless we intervene, we all get them eventually, and typically we start to notice them in our 20s or 30s. They’re one of the first concerns for many of my younger patients and a bothersome area for many of my older ones.

But just like any other troublesome areas, we have lots of options to get rid of them.

No matter your budget, here are your best options to get rid of forehead wrinkles

Want to get rid of forehead wrinkles but working with a low budget? No problem.

If you’re starting to notice forehead wrinkles, you’ll be happy to know that you can accomplish a lot with a fairly small budget, and a good, low-cost way to manage wrinkles and lines is by adding a hyaluronic acid serum to your skincare routine. You can get these as cheap as 20 bucks, or you can spend more and get a higher quality product for around $100.

Chemical peels are also a good option, and on the low end, these are about $95.

These options are great if you’re just starting to notice some wrinkles forming, plus they can be the perfect preventative measure to help keep wrinkles at bay.

What you may also be surprised to learn is that Botox® is also on the low-budget scale when it comes to getting rid of forehead wrinkles. If you’re doing Botox just on the forehead, then you’re probably only going to need to spend about $150 – $200. That’s even on par with some of the serums. Especially when you’re younger, doing baby Botox and using only about 10-12 units, then that’s easily less than $200, so that’s not too bad.

The forehead is usually the first area of concern of the younger people that come in to see me, so they don’t have the same needs as those in their 40s where they’re starting to be bothered by the wrinkles that are already etched in there and more widespread.

Willing to spend a little bit more? Here’s what we can do with a medium budget.

Microneedling is another good option for getting rid of forehead wrinkles, and you’re going to be spending about $400, which is more than Botox, and you’re going to do it at about the same frequency.

While Botox is going to get rid of forehead wrinkles almost instantly by relaxing the muscles in the forehead, microneedling is going to promote collagen growth, which is going to help smooth out fine lines over time.

Here, it’s really just personal preference and deciding whether you’re ready to go forward with Botox injections, or if you’re wanting something more “natural” that doesn’t involve putting anything foreign into the body.

Ready to go all-in and get rid of forehead wrinkles with a fairly high budget?

If you’ve got a pretty big budget, and you’re ready to get rid of forehead wrinkles, you’ll want to go with a laser treatment. So we’re talking resurfacing lasers like the Fraxel® or CO2 lasers, which are heavy-duty procedures that really get in and correct the lines that are already there.

For these types of laser treatments, you’re looking at spending closer to $600 – $800, or for the full face, you’re looking at more like $1,600. These treatments are definitely on the higher end for not only budget, but for time commitment because you should expect some downtime.

How much should you spend to get rid of forehead wrinkles?

How much you should spend to get rid of forehead wrinkles truly depends on how deep the wrinkles are, what type of treatment you’re willing to do, and really, how much money and time you can put towards getting rid of them.

Not everyone needs to go all-in with a laser treatment, but at the same time, not everyone is going to be happy with the slow-to-show results of a hyaluronic acid serum. It truly is all about your individual needs.
